Project:

Between 2005 and 2006, Ixocon developed and realized a multifunctional
logistics center at GVZ-Altenwerder, directly in Hamburg’s largest container terminal.

The warehouse sections from approx. 4,500 m² to 9,500 m² ensure flexible usage possibilities and have a high-quality configuration.

Location:

  • 500 m to the Altenwerder container terminal
  • 500 m the A7 motorway
  • 1 - 2 km to the other large container terminals
  • 4 km to Airbus Industries
  • Public transportation link
  • Rail link available

Configuration/ Equipment:

  • 10.50 m warehouse height
  • 50 kN/m² floor load capacity
  • 1 dock door per 800 m² warehouse space
  • ESFR sprinkler system
  • CCTV monitored access and vehicle access control
  • User-friendly office and communal areas

Parameters:

  • Site area: 60,000 m²
  • Logistics area: 35,000 m²
  • Office space: 3,500 m²
  • Completion: 2006
