Hamburg-Steinwerder II

Project:

In 2008 Ixocon converted a former ship supplier site in the Port of Hamburg
into a modern service location for the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

On the approx. 9,700 m² property the veterinary inspection center, a new warehouse, as well as a user-specific office building was constructed that incorporated the existing structure.

Location:

  • Directly in the Port of Hamburg
  • 2 km to trans-regional motorways: A1 and A7
  • 2 - 3 km to the large container terminals
  • Public transportation link

  • 6.00 m warehouse height
  • 50 kN/m² floor load capacity
  • 6 Loadhouses
  • 3 refrigerated storage rooms and, in part with air-conditioned warehouses
  • Sampling and inspection rooms for human, nonhuman and plant-based foodstuffs
